Home visits for infant families

 
The health care offers home visits to all infant families in Lemvig Kommune during the first year of the childs’ life.

As a minimum 5 home visits are offered to the first-time mother and 3 home visits to mothers who have given birth before.

During the home visit the health visitor examines the baby and it is measured and weighed. The health visitor gives counsel about the breast-feeding and about the childs’ nutrition.

She evaluates the childs’ development and counsels about the childs’ needs and healthy development physically, mentally and socially.
